After graduating in Lyric Singing with the highest honors at the "Nicolò Paganini" Conservatory in Genoa, under the teaching of the Soprano Carmen Vilalta, Gianni Mongiardino perfected under the guidance of the Tenors Carlo Bergonzi Ottavio Garaventa and the Mezzosoprano Franca Maƫucci.

Winner of international competitions, including the "Enrico Caruso" competition in Milan for tenor voices only and "Rocca delle Macìe" in Siena, he made his debut in I Lombardi alla prima Crociata (role of Oronte) at the Teatro Popolare di Spalato and in Macbeth (Macduff) at the Verdiano Festival of Roncole Verdi (PARMA).

His rapid and intense career has led him to the stages of national theaters and some of the major theaters in the world. In Italy: Verona, Pisa, Lucca, Livorno, Mantua, San Remo, Salerno, Faenza, Cesena, Ravenna, Bergamo. International: Barcelona, Sofia, Bucharest, Zagrabia, Lugarno, Dublin, Iceland Palm Beach and Indiana.
