Francesco Ellero d'Artegna
Francesco Ellero d’Artegna It is one of the best known basses present on international billboards today. Friulian by birth, he was the winner of numerous competitions, including the "Verdi Voices" of Busseto, the "Toti dal Monte" of Treviso, the "Mario del Monaco" of Castelfranco Veneto and the "Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition" of Philadelphia.
His debuts in Nabucco at the Arena di Verona (1981) and in Aida at the Teatro La Scala (1986), were immediately followed by numerous appearances at the major opera houses of the five continents and he collaborated with the most famous conductors.
Many performances by him were alongside Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Mirella Freni and all the great performers of the period.
