1522 - 2022 History of Ludovico Ariosto in Garfagnana On the 20 February 1522 Ariosto received the mandate of Commissionary of the Estense province in the Garfagnana. Five hundred years after the exact day of his departure for Castelnuovo, Il Serchio delle Muse in collaboration with the Municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana recall the well-known character in a theatrical production, of music and storytelling.

The Serchio delle Muse is pleased to announce a performance of Rigoletto to be held at the Alfieri theater on December 17th. This will end our season for 2021. All Covid regulations will be respected and the green pass is required. Due to the reduced number of seats due to Covid regulations, reservations are required at the Pro Loco Castelnuovo di Garfagnana Tel: 0583 641007. Reservations will close on 14 December. We thank everyone who has supported us during this year and we look forward to seeing you on December 17th.
