Cristina Alberti
Violin
Cristina Alberti studied violin in Bologna under the guidance of Maestro Bignami with whom she graduated. Later she obtained the 2nd Level Academic Diploma in Violin with a Solo-Interpretative performance at the "A.Peri" Institute in Reggio Emilia.
She studied at the Academy of High Specialization in Portogruaro with Pavel Vernicoff, the International Academy of Novara with Maja Jocanovich and other important violinists.
She attended orchestral training courses in Germany, in Fiesole (Italian Youth Orchestra) and in Imola organized by the Arturo Toscanini Foundation of Parma.
Intense concert activity in duo and chamber music in various theatres.
She has collaborated for several years with the Arturo Toscanini Foundation of Parma, the Orchestra of the Municipal Theatre of Bologna, the Orchestra of the Regio Theatre of Parma, the City of Ferrara Orchestra, the Virtuosi Italiani, the Chamber Orchestra of Bologna.
She dedicated herself to Baroque practice, perfecting her studies at the "G.Frescobaldi" Conservatory of Ferrara with Maestro Casazza, and later collaborated with the Byzantine Academy of Ravenna on the occasion of works by Horses and Tailors.
Holder of the Chair at SMIM since 2012, she has taught since 2016 at the I.C. Cavicchi in Pieve di Cento.
